Industries

Every industry is held up by something different: packaging cannot use mineral oil on food-grade work, automotive is held to batch consistency, housewares fight filler settling in the hopper, toys turn on changeover frequency, and appliances are judged on visible colour deviation. Start with what holds yours up.

Packaging and containers

Food-grade packaging rules out mineral oil as a dispersing agent, yet without it manual blending will not carry the pigment evenly. And once airborne powder is loose in the shop, it shows up as specks on the part surface.

Common choice: MegaColor 5th Gen Standard

Automotive components

Automotive work is unforgiving about batch-to-batch consistency, and every delivery goes through incoming inspection. Manual blending varies from shift to shift; translucency and hue drift, and a whole batch can be rejected.

Housewares

Houseware parts often take calcium carbonate as a filler to bring cost down. Calcium carbonate and resin differ widely in bulk density, so however well the tumbler blends them, one knock in the hopper and the filler settles out — the parts moulded at the start of a batch do not match the ones at the end.

Common choice: MegaColor 5th Gen Dual-Material

Toys and gifts

Toys and gifts mean bright colours, a lot of colour references and small runs — several changeovers a day. A slow changeover is a machine standing idle, and the row of pre-blended tubs in the blending area becomes scrap when a run finishes early.

Appliance housings

An appliance housing is a visible part, so colour deviation is an outright reject. Appliance orders also tend to be many variants in small quantities, and manual blending error shows up more sharply the smaller the batch.

Industry is only the way in. The model turns on three things: resin temperature (low or high), throughput per machine (within or above 70 kg/h), and dosing configuration (one powder, two powders, or several raw materials). Settle those three and the model is settled — compare the full range.

We will try your material first
